Who am I?
I am a professional fret worker with nearly 40 years experience.
Glyn Salisbury Fretwork is a design and woodworking studio based in Caithness, Scotland. Using one of the oldest forms of woodworking I create individually crafted and hand finished wooden gifts to delight the recipient and enhance their home. Whether it is a simple striking piece or a large complex design quality and workmanship are my bywords.
Master Craftsmanship
Each wooden gift is hand fret sawn, finished and oiled with boiled linseed oil to bring out the depth of colour and provide a long lasting protection.
Gifts are made from a selection of sustainable sourced hardwood and pieces are selected for their colour and grain effect to enhance the final look of the item.
DELIVERIES
All Birds or Other Gifts are individually hand crafted. I aim to dispatch in 10 days, by Royal Mail.
At certain busy times, dispatch could be up to 20 days. Please allow for this when ordering.
Please note: You can pay for and pre-order any amount of Birds, they will then be dispatched at the beginning of the Month of Release.

If there is a special date you would like it for, then please state this when placing the order, in the message box. I always try to ensure you get it in time.
If you wish to mail your order in, write your order out, using item number and the name of the bird or birds, again, tell me a date you want it for, I will do my best.
